Outreach Ministry

                        MISSION QUILTERS
is a new ministry at Trinity.  Interested persons gather on the First
Saturday of each month in the Fellowship Center to put patch quilts
together to be distributed to the Women's Shelter, persons who are
homebound/homeless, and shipped overseas to our military.

Service to God and Jesus Christ is a key aspect of life here at Trinity Lutheran Church. It can
come in many forms. There are so many ways to serve, from participating in a worship service,
to teaching Sunday School to joining the choir or volunteering in the Altar Guild. Everyone is
encouraged to become involved, and there is always use for any talent.

Is God calling you to serve in one of these ways?
We are always in need of help in the following areas:

  • Acolyte coordinator: Scheduling and training of acolytes.
  • Angel Messengers: Persons willing to call on first-time visitors following worship.
  • Lay Shepherd Ministers: persons who have completed the training to minister to
    members of the congregation in need or crisis.
  • Lay Shepherd Minister Trainees: People to prepare as Lay Ministers.
  • Youth Leaders: persons who will help our staff grow youth ministry.
  • Greeters: person who have a gift for welcoming all worshipers and guests.
  • Ushers: men, women, and youth willing to attend to the needs of worshippers, distribute
    bulletins, help with Communion and gather offerings.
  • Hospitality: persons to assist coordinator in hospitality outreach.
  • Computer Designers: persons to create new brochures for all our ministry organizations.
  • Teachers/Leaders: persons who lead education classes for units of four or six weeks.
  • Band and Choir Members: Men, women, young people, and children to sing in the choir or
    play in the ALIVE@8:55 contemporary band.
  • The Congregation: All disciples expected to pray for the ministry of our church that we
    may continue to witness to Jesus Christ.
